First Birthday Shoots are fun!

I have done quite a few first birthday shoots, and they are always so much fun. Either cake or balloons, or just watching this child enjoy themselves explore, while I snap away, I always love the results. This boy really loved his balloons! It was alot of fun to shoot him, and I just love his adorable smile, and big blue eyes!!


First birthdays are also a time to do year collages, birth through one photo books, or just a big collage from the first birthday photo shoot. All of these things I can help you with to see which meet your needs!

Easter early this year!

Easter is March 23rd this year! I hope that means spring weather comes early too this year! I can't wait to be outside again, I feel like it has been forever since we just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful weather! I know my kids miss it so much!

The Classic "Starting a new blog" Entry

Yes, I am starting a new blog. This is for the business, to show insights into sessions, funny pictures that aren't on the main website, and more ramblings from me! I plan to have contests now and then for things, and I plan to make this a place to understand that I am doing this because I love making wonderful memories and I truely love taking photographs of children. I have been a photographer for many years. Amateur since I could have a camera, shooting rolls and rolls of film, sending it away, and anxiously awaiting its' return. It was a different world back then, and now the rewards are so much quicker with digital. There are worlds of possibilities for each photograph taken, and I am so excited to be a part of this industry!

So, for my first post, I want it to be light hearted and share something from a few photo shoots this holiday... the theme seemed to be "what can I stick in my nose" during most of the shoots. I am not sure why, but that was sure fun for the kids. Here are a few I managed to capture during a few sessions. Very funny!
